First regular North Sea cleanup operation of 2020
Saturday June 20, 2020 our Dutch team consisting of 13 divers headed out for their first regular North Sea cleanup operation. We went back to the shipwreck we identified in 2018 as S.S. Trevier and managed to recover another 200KG of lost fishing gear and released several trapped animals. Till date we removed several tons of this shipwreck and we are still not there. The second dive we surveyed the shipwreck "Panago" which is relatively clean but still some recreational fishing gear was found.
This operation was made possible by Healthy Seas. Our next North Sea cleanup is planned for Saturday July 4, 2020.
