Regular cleanups continue in the Adriatic
During the weekend of March 21, there was regular cleaning on the reefs of Krnica in Croatia. Ghost Diving Adriatic again got help from several international support divers and managed to remove 150m lines in a few days, along with 100m gill net and 5 lost fish cages. The fishing cages (if still usable) are returned to the fishermen.
As you can see these regular cleanups are badly needed in this area, after decades of fishing no attention has ever been paid to what is left on the seabed. We continue undisturbed until the underwater nature is at an acceptable level.
